Roof Underlayments
Underlayments are an essential component of a complete roofing system. IMETCO offers high-quality, self-adhering underlayments, all of which are heat-tolerant, self-sealing SBS modified products.
AquaBlock™ self-adhering SBS-modified membrane offers added protection against water infiltration due to ice and snow accumulation at penetrations, valleys and edges on sloped roofs. It is durable and easy to install, featuring a split-back release film and slip-resistant surface. AquaBlock has excellent low-temperature flexibility and can be installed directly to concrete, plywood, wood composition board and gypsum.
AquaBlock is available in either 50- or 60-mil thickness and can be left exposed for up to 90 days.
IntelliWrap™ UDL is a self-adhering waterproofing underlayment composed of a non-slip polymer film laminated to a high temperature rubberized asphalt adhesive. A split release liner protects the adhesive and is removed as the underlayment is installed. IntelliWrap UDL is available in 45-mil thickness and can be left exposed for up to 90 days.
IntelliWrap™ PR, our newest underlayment, is a permeable self-adhered roofing underlayment, engineered to be water and airtight but vapor permeable allowing the roof assembly to breath. The product includes a slip resistant UV-stable surface for walking during roofing installation. IntelliWrap PR is compatible with a wide variety of roofing systems including but not limited to standing seam metal roofs, slate tile, clay tile, cedar shingles.
