Standard, Designer and Premium painted finish collections, with Kynar 500® and Hylar 5000® protective coatings, provide outstanding resistance to UV and chemical exposure, and offer unmatched performance and color integrity. The PVF2 or PVDF fluoropolymer coating is applied at 0.70 to 0.90 mils over 0.20 to 0.30 mils of primer to provide a total system dry film thickness of 0.90 to 1.20 mils. The reverse side of the metal is protected by a polyester coating, usually in a white or off-white color, applied over a primer.
